I am beyond happy with my experience at thousand lake retrievers! Our little puppy is a great personality match and has been well socialized even before we picked her up. Hunter was super knowledgeable about the breed and quick to respond with updates or any questions we had. After we picked up our girl he followed up to make sure everything was going well as well. I would highly reccomend thousand lakes to anyone looking for a beautiful smart great family pet! We are in love with our little girl and so thankful she came from such a great breeder!

Hunter was great to work with, we haven’t had a dog in 5 years and wanted to make sure we were getting what we wanted and looked at a lot of breeders. Hunter is very down to earth and full of information and done a great job in keeping us informed along the way. Finley “Fin” has been a great addition to our family, every where we go people ask about him, he is great with kids and other people. His energy levels are very balanced, he will go with you all day and chills out when he needs to, he is very intelligent and learns very quickly. I would highly recommend looking at Thousand Lake Retrievers for your next field bred golden puppy.

Thousand Lakes was so wonderful to work with. We had a couple bumps in the road getting our sweet girl to us and they were constantly updating us the week before we picked her up. I could genuinely tell they loved and cared for our puppy as much as we did and it was important which meant the world to me as I waited patiently to get her home. Despite the bumps we got her home and she’s the best puppy and it’s been so fun to have her and navigate this new life with her!

What a wonderful experience! Hunter was so nice and super easy to contact. They always reached out prior to picking up the pup with updates and photos. Even after we got our little pup, hunter asked how she was and offered any help or support. They truly care about the dogs and the families. They offered to drive the pup up to where we live and let us meet them before the pup pickup. Will 1000% go back.
